Our Story
Brittany's affinity for vintage items started at a young age. While visiting her grandmother Ruby, she would hike up and down the hills of Tennessee going to estate sales. Her love matured as she helped her parents curate their own antique booths (mostly by saying "I like that one").Now it is time for her to junk hunt on her own. With an affinity for Art Deco & Nouveau, Mid-Century Modern (MCM), Folk Art, Pop Culture Relics, and unique quirky items. She scours the area for other people's forgotten finds.In addition to her love of vintage, she also enjoys upcycling finds into something new. Many of her handmade soy wax candles are poured into vintage coffee mugs, teacups, and cocktail glasses. She also uses wine or beer bottles/cans to give them a new life as a scented candle. In line with her alcohol themed creations, she also creates bottle lamps from her (or your) liquor/beer/wine bottles.Living in Denton, Texas, she is constantly renewed by the creative spirit of the town and frequently takes place in local markets and events.
